Yes. This has happened to me a couple of times but I was able to
eventually remove
the residue.
Someone (possible this list) had made the recommendation to clean your
board every hour during assembly. This seems like good advice for a few
different reasons. A five minute cleaning break is welcome relief from
staring through
the magnifier for an hour soldering SMD devices using tweezers and a 20mil
soldering tip ;-)
