just a couple of things :
- although hongkongsuperseller keeps his ebay feedback private, you can
see that he got more than 40 neg. feedback within the last 12 months (which
is a lot IMHO) and as many neutrals... Actually I always skip sellers with more

than 2 neg within the last 12 months...
- if you paid via paypal, there's a good chance that you get refund...
A few months ago I had a bad experience with another HK seller (not DIY stuff)
and got 100% refund from paypal... investigation took 5 weeks though...
