yep, the PPG and Microwave both had BLISTERINGLY quick EGs.
The PPG had a *REALLY* funny way of 'smoothing' the EGs too, I'll try and 
explain it if you guys really want.

FWIW, I beleive this is down to the current techniques used for 
anti-aliasing...

Yeah, the XT is pretty good and if I had (a) the money and (b) the chance, 
I'd buy one.

again, I beleive they've gone too far in the smoothing of the EGs.

I do miss my 2.2, but I don't miss the size, it was MASSIVE...
