If you see a doc file, it means that the PDF was made by me on the 
Macintosh. Then try the doc file, I suppose, in case Macintosh PDFs are 
weird. (I don't like to just post doc files in case someone doesn't have 
MS Word).

If you just see a PDF file, it means that's what the student gave me, and 
who knows how they made it...
