 > How many hours a week do you guys "work" on your modular/instruments?

Since fixing synth and designing audio gear is my day job, its hard for 
me to get too excited about designing and building my own stuff these days.

Perhaps I should get another day job and then I can get involved with 
building synths again.

So the amount of my own time spent on designing synths that I will use 
personally in my own music is now close to nil.

 > And how many hours a week do you make music with your 
modular/instruments?

Around 10 to 20, depending on how time I have spare.

How much of that results in getting anything decent down on 'tape' is 
another question entirely... Most of the time is just mucking about and 
enjoying playing music for sake of it.
