I built one of these and only have a paper copy of the schematic. There
really isn't much missing from the online copy. Starting from the top right:

* Power LED connections R38 and LED D5 are off-board (mounted on the panel)
* Capacitor C15 on pin3 of IC14 is 10uF to VCC
* V+, G, SG, V- connections for external power.
* V+ pins: IC10,11,12(4)/IC4,13(16)
* V- pins: IC8(3)/IC10,11,12(11)/IC4,13(7)
* IC6F no connect - similar to IC6E right next to it (pin 13 grounded).
* CV/Gate jacks 4 and 8 circuits are identical to the rest on the page.

I'd recommend the kit - it's reasonably priced, easy to assemble and
having the PCB really makes for a nice end product.

On the other hand, if you really want DIY, why not build one of the
other fine MIDI/CV interfaces out there? The 8051 processor used in the
PAiA design is getting pretty long in the tooth, and requires an
external EPROM. Today's Flash-based microcontrollers are a lot less
expensive and easier to use. Ferinstance, Seb Francis on this list has a
number of variations on this theme at his site and just let us know he's
getting a new order of PCBs soon:
