OK while we're on the topic of pots., I have a question about a couple of 
pots that I found in a piece of old stereo equipment. They were both in tone 
controls. OK, one was a 1MOhm-C. I know that's a a reverse log taper - easy. 
But the other is a 50KOhm-D. What's D? If I remember correctly it just 
measured like a log - have to check again.

But wait it gets better. On another piece of gear I found one that said 
100KOhm-G. What the heck is that? I think that one read like linear. Again - 
have check again.
