Usually that is done with a center tapped
pot... bur read carefully what he asked.
There are 'balance' pots used in guitars that
do not change resistance for 50% of rotation
(they stay at full) then fade in the remaining 50%.
The other side of the dual pot does the opposite.
Now if you reversed that taper, what he describes
is possible without the center tap.
Its REALLY food for thought, and I'll happily
go in with someone who wants to order a large
quantity of them :^P
