[sdiy] using CCD's as BBD's in audio circuits revisited

I should mention that what really got me going was the mention of a delay
made by DOD that used CCD's that I saw in one of the pdf's of the old Device
issues on the web. I forget which one, but it's between 1-9 and 1-12 I
think. They made a comparison between it and the EH Memory Man. The MM was
noticeably less noisy. But the CCD's I have have 5943 stages and I recall
that CCD's are less lossy than BBD's (say that 10 times fast...) - so if I
used both in series that would be um whatever 2 times 5943 is stages. And
I'm sure that the circuitry would be much simpler than the delta-sigma (or
is it sigma-delta? I always forget...) digital delay I almost finished
making.
