2SC1583 shouldn't be that hard to find (use any version). It's just a
monolith transistor pair = pretty good matching between the
transistors. So, you can use other matched transistors for that or
even match couple of 2N3904/BC547s for the same effect (discrete
transistor pair should be held in the same temperature = glue 'em
together).
