Well for starts it's a different OS version -- but you already
knew that.  What you don't know is what the difference is.
Maybe the older OS only uses part of the 2708 (say lower 
half) and the new OS uses all of it -- and -- there is an address
line missing/bad/not wired.  Maybe that OS expects some 
other difference hardware.  It might be more than just an
EPROM upgrade.
