Do it right, and you'd have what the OB-Mx should have been.

The OB-Mx gets slammed a lot, but the overall structure really is an 
interesting design. Buchla & Crowe & etc. got _so close_ but Gibson 
politics screwed everything up (as Gibson screws everything up.)

I have heard that there's OB-Mxes that are absolutely awesome, and tune up 
with no problems. I suspect the design is really fragile to specific part 
choices, and Gibson's quality control seemed to have been run by trained 
ferrets.
