Hola -
I've been using the Panasonic BR-2/3A 3V battery for all my Sequential 
replacements (Prophet 5, Multi-Trak, Six-Trak, P-600), and I haven't had 
any complaints.
I get them from Mouser -- #658-BR2-3AT2SP

In answer to your question -- I believe "BT301" is just a Sequential 
designation.
