[sdiy]1-chip EQ

Someone was asking after a single-chip EQ?   I just picked up some BA3812s from Electronic Surplus here in Cleveland(http://www.electronicsurplus.com) for a pretty good price... 5 bands, and you can gang them together to get 10.  Only needs a handful of outboard parts.  Would run off a single 9v supply, so might be good for guitar pedals?  Not sure how they'll handle synth-level signals, but I'll find out.
