[sdiy] Anyone know of a device that does no-added-delay MIDI filtering?

Hehe...ummm.... I think rather than rewriting the code and making my own
firmware for several machines this *might* be a better solution. I'm
sure probably I could just buffer and I wouldn't even notice the ms of
delay. But it was just a fun thought for those who are really into
having precision timing on those macines. ..
The firmware is what's 'broken' basically. Some Early MIDI machines
were made to run in Omni mode only. The LATEST prophet 600 firmware
supports midi channel and omni off at least. But ...you have to reset
it every time you boot it. It doesn't remember. Same with six-trak.
DK600 has no version I'm aware of that even supports omni off. -Bob
