Linear Technology LTSpice/SwitcherCAD III.  Though designated as a switching
regulator simulator, it can do op amp and transistor based simulations as
well.  It is free and has a nice schematic capture GUI.

BTW does anyone out there in synth DiY land know of any decent packages for
simulating circuits. we are using a package called "crocadile clips" which
is alright but we are finding it fairly limited and processor heavy.
