Its pretty easy to guess whats in it.  Just looking at the controls is
enough to build a pretty fair idea of the amount and kind of control you
should shoot for.  There was some mention of a marketed version called the
Barth Musicoder which if schematics could be found might give insight into
how the original was designed.

I think you'll find a lot of people on here that consider building an analog
vocoder to be quite the pointless exercise however...
