[sdiy] I have found that SSM2210 transistor arrays give better performance in my latest oscillator design.

Yeah, I wrote up an article on that for EN (1979). I found that all my
expo converters had small HF oscillations, that caused overtracking at the
very top end. Killing the oscillations straightened out the curves. So
that would be a good place to look first.
