No, never. I  have cannibalized about 50 C64s for
their SID chips, but they always had chips labelled
"6581" or "8580", never a "6582".

2 of the C64 did have a Board with only 1 or 2 large SMD
chips on them, never heard about that anywhere.
No SID in them - seems to be a very late, highly
integrated vrsion.

And, in every other C64 the SID was socketed,
so an easy "pull.
