hmmm strange.
The Eagle support is a NEWS server, not a forum. And it allows
everybody to post.
Searching of course needs to be done in the newsreader, after
downloading the messages - maybe outlook is not the best
choice for that, but i have heard that it can do that.

Forget that. Copying the schematic and then re-doing the layout is
the best way.
There ARE tricks around how to do that, (closing the schematic,
copying the parts/traces, closing the board, opening both and then
manually correcting all the part names/numbers etc until you do no
longer get ERC complaints) - but it will definitely be faster to redo the
part of the layout, imho.
