This is really a nice capability to have.  I was fortunate to get a demo of 
JH's scanner in the waveform scanning mode and was very impressed with the 
rich sounds.  My new 5-stage chaos generator can produce 4, 6, 8, or 10 
phase sinusoids and I have been experimenting with using these to patch up 
multi-waveform scans using VCA's with negative offset.  A dedicated module 
like the 4-phase unit JH just posted would be a great addition to any 
modular system.
