Well, I long ago got sidetracked on coding this up... but someone else did
it for us!

I've created a map at Frappr which is a new service that abuses Google Maps.

I know the topic had come up a couple times so people who're interested
might want to add themselves.

There is also a simple web chat applet, not that I'm a fan of those, but
anyway...
