In light of the recent sdiy interest in Xilinx gear, i thought i'd
pimp this article to the list:
http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/power/library/pa-soc8/?ca=dgr-lnxw09SoCForHardware
IBM shows us how to approach the 'hardware-ization' of well-optimized
software routines from the perspective of HDL/FPGA designers .. quite
a thought-provoking article, I think .. as a programmer I'm very
interested in the ways and means by which my most-optimized code can
become 'hard', and I look forward to part 2 of this article, anyway
.. not to mention the arrival of the odd Xilinx eval board or two ..
;)
