look at the signals. Until I got an o'scope, I was limited to playing with
digital circuits. If you can't see the signal, it's real tough to know
qhat's going on. Listening is okay for gross approximations and build
circuits that are allready designed. For new circuits, a signal source, a
stable power supply and a o'scope are necessary.

V, O, I (or A), C, hfe, are good. I have F, T, and Diode test that are used
much less often. The last meter I bought, the critical item was uA.
