I like yours better. Even though it doesn't have an indicator light or 
fancy gyrator circuit, it does have a lot fewer parts & wiring. And it 
uses cool new stuff instead of dusty old 4000-series CMOS.

There's room in this world for a lot of different A440 references. I was 
thinking about doing one in a PSoC - only 1 chip!
