Hi
I am having a lot of success with the following approach to front panels +
graphics...
1) Use cheap copper clad PCB's as the panel. Cut to size wanted.
2) Drill out the holes for pots, jacks, etc.
3) Spray car primer then car colour onto the panel - front and back - lots
of cool colors to choose from!
4) Print graphics on Safmat from Letraset using a Laser or Inkjet - complex
text and graphics are easy
5) Put Safmat on panel and burnish - cut out holes with sharp knife
6) Spray acrylic matt finish once over the completed panel, twice is you
want a darker shade
7) Attach pots etc....
A lot cheaper than machined ali. Works out about £2 a panel and looks very
nice and is durable.... I'll post some pictures if anyone is interested..
Only problem is Safmat stocks have run out in the UK until August...its so
popular.

Hi guys. Is there a cheap, fast and easy way to do professional looking
front panel graphics at home using a standard injet printer? Or perhaps a
website showing various techniques?
Thanks as always for the help, you guys are great!
