Hey guys, i figure this is interesting so i'm crossposting it.
My team and I have just finished Nortron 1.0 for Mac OSX and it's ready
to be used for making music.
You can read about it here:
http://www.dspaudio.com
Nortron was written in both C++ and Max/MSP(glue code). It is a
lightweight sequencer application leaving lots of CPU free for soft-synths
and DAW applications. A universal binary is coming soon with an
Intel/Windows port following soon thereafter.
Nortron is a fully professional application that we are supporting and
expanding as a real composition platform. The base 1.0 version is very
well featured and goes further than the Notron in many respects, while we
continue adding features and devising our own interfaces.
We've implemented many new original ideas that make live sequencing even
more possible than it was on the Notron. We consider the application a
work of art and hope that you find it a continous breakthrough in
software sequencing.
Examples of the nortron driving various synths will be posted in the
following days along with updated screenshots.
Thanks for the bandwidth.
DSPaudio and Anthony
