An interesting benefit of this development is using these modules in your
own DIY synth. Back when my 106 was on the verge of death I thought long and
hard about making synth modules out of the remaining voice chips. It's a
distinctive VCF and quite unlike any of the standard designs we use in DIY
projects.
Now we can make Juno 106 VCF modules for our DIY modulars without the guilt.
BTW I did restore the synth in the end.
