[sdiy] Painting a JX8P

Try painting it with a rust converter. This turns rust into a blackish
looking color (if you use the right brand of converter). It will also stain
the writing, so quickly wipe it after the brush passes over (use a clean
rag. No chemicals). When all is dry, laquer it as the converter requires a
top coat.  Needless to say TEST on an obsure area before committing to doing
the synth.
