[sdiy] fume extraction revisited

Hi group,

I'm about to lay out a cool $600 on a Metcal BVX-101 Fume Extraction 
Filter and
was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this or similar products ?

I'm pretty excited about it actually - I've done my research and it 
looks like a good unit.
Can't wait to start soldering again and not get sick !
