[sdiy] Sequencer update troubles / solutions posted, but I've a question. :)

I didn't know if anyone would be interested in further progress on the
sequencer, so I've just been posting the latest updates in the Design
area of my webpage, since yesterday.

The 8 Gates section is MOSTLY up and running.  Finished it yesterday,
and had a major trouble.  Solved that today, but have some new
troubles, that I'm working out. :)

BUT - I realized that I had FORGOTTEN to hook up a function for the
Gates, and I need a hand here, if someone could. :)

Part of my desire of having 8 individual Gate Outputs (with LEDs) for
my FOUR step sequencer - was so that I could switch between:

Gates 1-4
Gates 5-8
Gates 1-8

But ..... I forgot to setup a switch for this, and now - I can't
remember HOW - TO hook up a switch (toggle switch), TO make 3 choices.
 :( :(  Could anyone clue me in on this???

I believe I can figure it out, with 2 toggle switches (controlling the
Gate's 4051's logic inputs) but I KNOW there've been 3 choices doable
with a single toggle switch.  I just can't remember how it's done. :(

Thanks for any possible help on that one! :)

As soon as I get the current bugs worked out with the Gate's 8 steps,
I'll be hooking up the Divide By 7 counter, and then the 8 rotary
switches. :)  After that, I'll be sampling and throwing wave files up
on the page. :)  HOPEfully - this week. :)  (3 or 4 weeks, behind my
desired finishing schedule, already.  (sigh))

P.S.  Happy New Year everybody!  :D  It's the Year of the Dog, as of
today. :)  (Chinese.  Was the Vietnamese New Year, last Sunday -
apparently.)
