You need Wine and a VST host program (there are several). The exact
software versions of all components matter greatly. It is probably best
to just get hold of special Linux distributions for music. There are
two big distros - Agnula and Planet CCRMA.

some of these are based on other distributions, some are full
installable distributions and some are live CD (don't require an
