[sdiy] Ken's synthacon VCF

I've got problems; a lot of resonance distortion and
basically no feedtrough of the original signal. I've
replaced the transistors with 2N3904 / 2N3906 since i
didn't have anything else and i guess this is the root
of the problem. I was thinking that maybe i could 
compensate for the (supposedly) overdriven
amplification with replacing the 390R to V+ with a
bigger resistor or possibly the 2.2K to ground at the
emmiter of the 2N2222 at the amp.  

any thoughts?
