There is site on the web that gives gudiances to tune a XP system
for music, i tried it on a Xp based PC, spent about 2 days tuning system
(meaning, deleting wast proportions of installed system
drivers, and crancking others) the Xp system now boots in less then 6 sec! I
use ASIO4all as generic driver on this system
works splendid.
