I used a (showing age) 286 computer to run Cakewark for my
CD. I removed the power supply and installed it inside a soundproof box.
It was hung from bungee cords, and the whole bax lined with acoustic
foam. It was very quiet. 286's didn't need CPU fans, and I used
floppy drives for the data, so there is no noise unless writing.

Maybe I should make a box for the Matrrix 1000...
(and place it underground ? :^)

sounds like a 747 taking off. ;)
