First,  I had one email in today's batch that was just HTML.  Not one with an 
HTML part _and_ a text part (though I do think that those are a waste of both 
download time and HD space here as I don't think that HTML has any place in 
email anyhow),  but one with just HTML and nothing else.

When I see these I delete them,  immediately.

If you want your posts read,  send 'em in text,  which is what email is 
supposed to use,  AOL and other idiots promoting HTML to the contrary.

Second,  PLEASE don't CC me offlist with a copy of your reply to some thread 
that I just happened to post in just because the software is set up that way,  
or "reply to all" is easier,  or whatever the heck the reason is.  I read the 
list,  I get a copy of it there,  and there's no reason to clutter up my 
inbox (and make me waste the time downloading) another copy.
