The MG-1 Organ Voice routes thru the key switches the summed audio (after
filter/rectification/comparitor) is used to drive the MG-1's Gate. So to
trigger and play the Organ Voice you have to press key's or perform it's
equiv.

On my bench right now is a 1/2 built board which intends to implement 2 MIDI
controlled cross-point switches. Since they have 8 output channels i've
allocated 1 channel to drive the key-detect (only needed if no MIDI2CV is
driving the Gate) and the other 7 to a weighted summer to implement a crude
DAC to allow a coarse Velocity value to be assigned to the Organ voice.

regards,
p

Hey Florian, interesting idea, but I'm not sure I can make it a reality ...
The poly voice in the MG-1 can only be triggered by the keyboard. I'm using
a midi-cv interface, so I'm not really playing it from the keyboard.

Is there a way that I can get this to work when controlling the synth via
cv/gate??
