Fortunately it turned out it there are another range of sockets available at
my supplier.
I guess these are RoHS compliant and the older ones weren't.
Still, it gave me a fright when the part numbers I've been using for years
came up 'last stock'.
Building things for yourself and building things to sell are different.
You will probably find you can still buy many non-RoHS compliant parts for a
long time, because they can legally be used in repair of older equipment,
or, as I understand it, you'll be able to use non-compliant parts in new
equipment as long as you have no intention of selling it.
