hey folks - i thought some people on this list might
find this intresting. i've made a few crackleboxes in the past
year and really enjoy playing them - but as you all know
due to impendance problems the line out will never sound
the same as the speaker. maybe an audio transformer here
would be easier but not cheaper.
A cheap solution! experimenting w/ VLF receivers i've found
that not only are there are horrible radiation/radio waves
all around my house - but they make GREAT CRACKELBOX
pick ups! just put a VLF receiver next
to your cracklebox - and you have a nice line out.

just thought that might intrest someone - here is a schem
of a very basic but good working VLF receiver. you will
probally need to add a 386 AMP to the output of your
VLF receiver - keep it away from the input/output
of the vlf circuit or it will feedback. also decouple the
386 and possible put a 3904 as a decoupler from the
power supply to the VLF circuit
