[sdiy] Triggering problems with sequencer. Any thoughts?

You've got the signals you need already - you just have to buffer them. The
easiest way of creating a gate is simply buffering each output of the
counter - the same signals that are fed to the pots. What I think I'm
seeing here is you're taking the OUTPUT of the pots - the summer - and
trying to recreate the gate from those. No need. the outputs of the
counter are the gates.
If you want triggers from those (predetermined on time which is shorter than
the gate duration, there are a few ways of going about this. A one shot
comes to mind - which can be as simple as an R/C at the base of a NPN with
a second NPN after that to pull the trigger back into phase.
