howdy,
WOW! All this PCB groun theory stuff could't have
come at a better time! I am just now reading "Op Amps
for Musical Applications". I skipped the power supply
section the first read but started reading it tonight.
I just figured, get 2 wall warts,(I've done it before
on simple circuits), but now I realize, as I'm just
getting into breadboarding, the text of the book and
this discussion are VERY important to me. If I ever
layout a circuit board, ,(I've burned some back in the
80s), I now realize to come up with a good module,
clean power MUST be accounted for. Thanx guys. I'm
learning from the book and your expertise at the same
time.
Couldn't one make a control voltage delay module
based on a 555 timer? That's my first question as I
start out on the path of building a module from
scratch, not a kit or a drawing. I'm gettin ready to
find out.
