I thought of whipping something up on a CD real quick but the exam is  
tomorrow so I have to prioritize.

Also adding to the confusion was the band limiting, perhaps if I  
created a test tone on my PC it wouldn't be limited by this  
mysterious LPF before the ADC with fc=11kHz.
