Hi there - I've just joined, so might as well try to be useful: I built a
lot of analogue gear in the 70's and eighties, for various musician and
bands, and now fee the urge to return to the fray. I'm an electronics
engineer based in Lancashire.
These look rather like a variant of the switches used in a lot of PC's -
there will be a switch body that snap fits into the cap/actuator.
Trying a bit of ASCII art, the ones I'm thinking of wire like this:
---o o--- NO
____ Contact set 1
---o o--- NC
---o o--- NO
____ Contact set 2
---o o--- NC
What you have effectively is a DPDT, but with no common terminal - you have
to link them yourself
I'm blessed (or sometimes cursed) with a mnemonic memory, I recognise the
caps but can't remember from where at the moment.
Best wishes
