The cabinet is 3/4" oak, not great for weight but sturdy and beautiful.
The current modules from left to right are
MOTM Quad LFO
Encore Universal Event Generator
MOTM VC LFO (with mod to bump it to audio range)
MOTM 300 VCO
MOTM EG x3
MOTM uVCF
Blacet Time Machine
MOTM VCA / RM
I have immediate plans to replace the 2U VCA/RM with the 1U MOTM
uVCA/RM, saving 1U and to replace the LFO with another full VCO. (I
ordered some more kits before the MOTM deadline). Not sure what else
I'll stick in the open 1U, maybe my Oakley Envelope follower.
Starting at the left the DIY Panel has 2 rows. The rows have 3 jacks
each dedicated to CV and GATE from the keyboard. Those are each
cascaded into a gang of 4 mult, then cascaded into an inverter, then
cascaded and combined to an analog logic peak / trough circuit. With
that you can do all sorts of things like take the peak of a wave and its
inverse to get a rectification etc.
After that a knob for Portamento, then another LFO with Rate, Shape, and
Delay. I used the Electronics 4 Music CV controller board which also
contains an LFO/VCA. The VCA is hardwired to an RC filtered Gate signal
and the LFO is fed into the VCA. So when you key down you can a faded
in LFO useful for vibrato.
Then we have 2 jacks each for X,Y,and Gate from the Wiard Joystick. (I
love having a joystick. I suggest them for everyone.) Then a simple
potentiometer so you can do volume control, but I think I'm just going
to use it mostly for CV scaling and run the synth through a volume pedal.
I also plan to add a schmitt trigger to LFO D on the Quad LFO and normal
that into the UEG.
