I had a similar need and did some modeling of a de-glitcher.
This worked by knowing in advance when the sawtooth retrace was about to
happen
(I did know that, you might predict via amplitude...)
I followed the converter with a track/hold which is put in hold mode
during the retrace. The glitch becomes a flat-spot instead... much easier to
filter out, or just ignore
I w3anted it to work over a wide range of frequencies... the track/hold
would introduce
some slew.. but a triangle has slew anyway.
I consider the idea workable but probably not practical unless you
(as Pink Floyd once said) "have a real need..."
