[sdiy] regenerative divider

example:
Using a VCO feeding a balanced modulator and then the output of the
balanced modulator feeds a Low pass filter set to a freq halfway
between the VCO's freq and 1/2 the VCO's freq, this feeds an VCA
which feeds a splitter. one output you can use, the other is fed back
into the other input of the balanced modulator. The output of the
splitter ends up being 1/2 the freq of the VCO.

It is a loop, the loop must have more gain than loss to work. I do
this in RF and was wondering if anyone has done this with a modular
at audio freq's? Just wondering.

I could sketch a block diagram if you would like.
