[sdiy] midijack note buffer

hi,

i just installed a synhouse midijack in my mc-202. unfortunately, one of its
"features" is that it has a buffer that stores the last 4 notes, so that
when you hold a note, and press and release a second note, it returns to the
previous note as long as it's still being held. i'm quite fond of my paia
midi2cv8's function that simply cuts off prior notes. in fact quite a few of
my existing sequences take advantage of the fact that new notes end old
ones. is anyone familiar enough with the midijack (or its technology in
general) to know if this buffer is a separate chip that i can disable
(longshot)?

thanks,
greg
