I'd forgotten them ! - I used one of them once in a project studio, but
with the Fostex as T/C master driving an Atari/cubase rig. Now I think of
it, it was all a wee bit fiddly, with all sorts of offset stuff going on.

Yeah, something almost nostalgic about it - that and the sound of a U-matic
transport engaging the tape. A very 3AM sound.
BTW, did you ever get around to playing with the firmware for the Paia
Midi2CV8? I'm planning on using one in a rack synth that's slowly growing on
the bench, and would love to find a way to change the Release velocity CV
from output 8 into MIDI CC4 (foot control). This is in mode 1.
Sadly, I'm not a coder, so unable to do it myself......
Are you or anyone else out there open to a bit of sdiy bribery - with pcbs
or ICs maybe?
