[sdiy] Philips sells most of chip unit. Any SDIY ramifications?

Hi Scott --

I got some directly from "On" a while back.  They all had excessive offset 
variation with Iabc.  Worse, they were all about the same, so there was no 
hope in selecting out high-performance units.
