the interfacing on the 303/606 is basically comprehensive

triggers in&out
cv in&out
gate in&out

there's some other stuff i discovered while working on it that is obvious
but basically artistic license so i won't detail those patch points.
i just took the idea of modularization as far as i could. if i'd found a
proper method for switching the cpu's lines between the 606 and 303,
i'd have created a toggle so that they could drive each others analog
circuitry... maybe i'll get round to this even.

i wanted access to the noise sources and other things, so like a modular
you have to patch it to make sound in certain cases, but this means it
integrates well with other modular gear.

these days a paia master synchronizer has been integrated along with
some extra counters and logic. the old system you're seeing had an
encore expressionist buried in it, which i've since relocated to the
modular. you're also seeing a frostwave ms20 filter above the 303, a
really impressive combination. i wanted to add an analog delay, but ran
out of room, so settled for some classic ringmods.

i'll have to send a new closer picture of the 606/303 at some point. it's
a great example of how to keep adding onto a design until it's just
cluttered. it sounds good though. surprising s/nr with all the crappy
data ribbon cable i used.

i've corresponded a lot with julian at port23 a lot and his 606 mod's are
really well thought out. based on the amount of time i spent doing all
this work, i'd have to recommend getting someone else to do it for you
unless you're a bit bent somehow.
